Product Details

A proper indoor grill pan is one of those kitchen tools that feels like an indulgence until you have it and then you cannot imagine cooking without it, which is exactly the experience the Tramontina Titanex Cast Iron Square Grill 27cm delivers from the first session.

Cast iron with deep square ridges gives you the heat mass needed for genuine searing and the grill geometry needed for authentic char marks the kind of visual and textural result that no flat frypan, no matter how good, can replicate.
The square 27cm cooking area is generous enough for a full portion of paneer tikka, four veggie kebabs, two chicken breasts, or a grilled sandwich session for the whole family meaningful surface area that makes this a genuinely practical everyday grill and not just an occasional novelty.
Tramontina’s Titanex pre-seasoning is applied at the factory using food-grade oil both surfaces arrive conditioned and ready for use without the time-consuming initial seasoning that raw cast iron requires.
The deep ridges serve a practical purpose beyond grill marks they lift food above the surface so fat and excess oil drain away during cooking, making grilled food genuinely less oily than pan-fried equivalents.
Compatible with gas, induction, and electric stoves cast iron’s magnetic base makes induction compatibility completely natural, and its heat retention on gas or electric is exceptional for the kind of searing temperatures that proper grilling requires.

If home grilling is something you do regularly or have been wanting to do properly, the Tramontina Titanex Square Grill is the most capable and authentic cast iron option in this entire frypan and grillpan category.

Features

The Tramontina Titanex Cast Iron Square Grill 27cm is purpose-built for indoor grilling the square shape, deep ridges, cast iron mass, and Titanex pre-seasoning together deliver a genuinely professional grilling experience at home.

Cast Iron Square Design The square shape maximises the grilling area within the 27cm footprint more usable cooking space than a round grill pan of the same diameter for grilling rectangular food portions.
Deep Grill Ridges High, well-spaced ridges create authentic sear marks and lift food away from the cooking surface so excess fat drains into the channels between ridges genuinely healthier than flat-surface frying.
Titanex Pre-Seasoning Factory-applied food-grade oil seasoning means the grill is ready to use immediately no extensive initial seasoning process before your first grilling session.
Superior Heat Retention Cast iron holds cooking temperature steadily even when cold food is placed on the hot surface essential for achieving proper sear marks without the surface losing temperature between portions.
Natural Non-Stick Development The ridged cast iron surface seasons progressively with regular use building a natural non-stick quality that improves with each grilling session rather than degrading over time.
No Synthetic Coating Pure cast iron with natural oil seasoning only PTFE-free, PFOA-free, completely chemical-free on both surfaces.
Gas, Induction and Electric Compatible Full stove compatibility from the naturally magnetic cast iron base no adaptor needed for induction and excellent performance on gas and electric.
Dietary Iron Benefit Regular cast iron cooking adds trace bioavailable dietary iron to food a natural health benefit for daily cast iron users.
27cm Practical Grill Area Large enough for serious grilling portions fits comfortably on a standard large burner and covers a meaningful cooking area for home grilling needs.
Tramontina Casting Quality Consistent, smooth casting with evenly spaced ridges the precision manufacturing that distinguishes Tramontina cast iron from generic alternatives.

Care Instructions

Cast iron grill pan care has one extra step compared to a flat cast iron pan cleaning between the ridges but the routine is simple and the reward is a grill that gets better with every session.

Hot Water and Grill Brush After Every Use Rinse with hot water while the pan is still warm and use a stiff grill brush to clean between the ridges. Do not use soap it strips the natural seasoning that makes cast iron perform.
Clean Between Ridges Thoroughly Food residue and fat that sits between the ridges can carbonise and become difficult to remove if left. Clean between every ridge after every use while the pan is still warm.
Stove Dry Immediately After Rinsing Return the grill pan to a medium flame for three to four minutes after rinsing driving all moisture out of the ridges and the flat base is essential for rust prevention.
Oil All Surfaces After Drying While still warm, apply cooking oil to both the ridges and the flat channels between them using a paper towel. Coat the underside as well oiling every surface prevents rust from any side.
Build Seasoning Through Regular Use The more you grill, the better the seasoning on the ridges becomes. Consistent use with proper oiling after each session builds a genuinely non-stick grill surface over weeks.
Deep Season Monthly Apply a thin layer of oil to all surfaces and heat on the stove until the oil smokes lightly, then let it cool completely. This periodic deep seasoning keeps the entire grill surface in top condition.
Address Rust Immediately Any rust on the ridges or base should be scrubbed away with steel wool, followed by one soap wash to remove all rust residue, thorough stove-drying, and immediate re-oiling.
Store Dry with Good Air Circulation Keep the grill pan in a dry location where air can circulate around it moisture trapped under or around the ridges is the main storage-related risk for a cast iron grill pan.

"Very good indoor grill pan the Tramontina Titanex cast iron quality is clearly superior to cheaper options. The grill marks are excellent and the fat drainage from the ridges makes a real difference to how the food tastes. My one note is that a cast iron grill pan this size takes longer to heat up to grilling temperature than a non-stick grill give it three to four minutes on medium-high flame before adding food. Once it reaches temperature the results are worth the wait. The cleaning with a grill brush takes a few minutes but becomes a habit quickly."
